Starting pitcher Bryan Stanford gave the Havana Stogies a rock-solid effort. The East Bethel, Minnesota native helped his team defeat the Eagle Rock Ridge Runners, 2-0, at Ozark Mountain Stadium. Andy Schutt closed it out for Havana, earning his 29th save. Havana is now 74-76.

Stanford subdued the Eagle Rock offense. The Havana right-hander allowed a mere 3 hits over 8 innings, while fanning 9. His season record goes to 7-10 with the win.
