The Buffalo Bison dealt the El Paso Mavericks a 6-3 loss at Thundering Grounds at Bison Stadium. Danny Pellot, who is on pace for 103 RBI this season, was the star on offense. He was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. The winning pitcher was Jon Wambach. He tossed 105 pitches over 6.1 innings, allowing 3 runs on 10 hits. Gary Halliwell, who is tied for 9th in the TML in saves with 23, earned the save for Buffalo.

In the bottom of the sixth, Buffalo third baseman Josh Bye gave his team the lead. With two out and a runner on 3rd, Horse hit his 22nd home run of the year. El Paso pitcher James Burket surrendered it. With that, the Bison jumped in front, 4-3.

"We did a lot of things right," said Pellot.

Buffalo bumps their record to 69-60 with the win.
