Buffalo Nets 5-4 Win Versus Mavericks
|
In a close game at Thundering Grounds at Bison Stadium, the Buffalo Bison edged the El Paso Mavericks, 5-4. Buffalo third baseman Josh Bye stood apart with his performance. He went 3-4 with 2 doubles and a walk, while scoring 2. Jesse Lindsley was the winner in relief. His record is now 6-2. The losing pitcher was Tanner Houck. Buffalo is now 52-77, El Paso 61-68.
Mike Maciel was the walk-off hero for Buffalo. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bison second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
