Mounties Send Huntington Station Home with 8-3 Loss
The Montreal Mounties took on the Huntington Station Ramrods at Mount Royal Grounds.

Behind a solid performance from shortstop Kiyomi Arai, the Montreal Mounties defeated the Huntington Station Ramrods, 8-3. Arai was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Mounties. Montreal reliever Randy Mowers snagged the win, upping his record to 4-5. Billy Kusnier shouldered the loss.

Montreal took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and runners on 1st and 3rd, Cody Jaeger hit a run-scoring single to make it 4-3, Mounties.

"It's a good day to be a fan after a win like that," Jaeger told the Montreal Today.

With the win, the Mounties have a record of 73-56.
