The Jacksonville Pilots beat the Seattle Sasquatch, 9-7, at Sasquatch Field at Brewbaker Family Memorial Stadium. The win was due in part to left fielder Miguel Ruiz, who went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Jacksonville reliever Wayne Keevil picked up the win, upping his record to 4-5. Travis Reske was saddled with the loss. Tyler Martin picked up the save, his 4th.

With Jacksonville leading 1-0 in the top of the first, Ruiz hit a slider from Travis Reske for a 2-run home run. It was his 24th home run of the season and put the Pilots ahead, 3-0.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Ruiz.

The 6th-place Pilots sport a record of 60-68.
