Skidding Stogies Lose 9th Straight
The Vancouver Pioneers dealt the Havana Stogies a 4-3 loss at The Humidor. Mitch Delagrange was the star on offense. He was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. The losses continue to pile up for Havana, which has now fallen 9 times in a row.

Vancouver used a timely hit from Xavier Ray to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Pioneers ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

"I warned the team before the game," losing manager Yen-nien Zhou told reporters, "that I'm wearing the same pair of undies until we win."
