3-0 Loss to Bison Extends El Paso Losing Streak
Starting pitcher Felipe Garcia gave the Buffalo Bison a rock-solid performance, helping his team defeat the El Paso Mavericks, 3-0, at Thundering Grounds at Bison Stadium. The winning pitcher was Garcia, now 3-3. He tossed 5 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 4. Mike Waldrup notched his 5th save in 8 chances.

The Bison got a big at-bat from second baseman Jeff Holmes. For the game, Holmes was 2-3 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 39th double of the season gave Buffalo a 2-0 lead.
