Eureka Hornets starter Dave Murphy pitched a strong game against the Dallas Texans at The Nest, leading the Hornets to victory, 6-4. Murphy got the win, improving to 4-4. He gave up 5 hits and walked 0 over 6 innings. He allowed 3 runs. Matt Acrey closed out the game, earning his 27th save.
