Trace Yeadon pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The Pennsylvania Butterflies, despite Yeadon's fine outing, dropped a 1-0 decision to the Bloomington Blazers at The Kaleidoscope. The first-place Blazers have won 7 consecutive games.

Jasper Bisson, who finished 4th in the TML in on-base percentage with .406 in 2061, had a direct impact on the outcome. Bisson contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put Bloomington up, 1-0.

"There were things that we could've improved upon," said Blazers manager Scott Andrews, "but all in all, I'm satisfied with our performance."
