Bison Earn Late Win
The Buffalo Bison found a way to sneak past the Milwaukee Millers, 5-4, in 11 innings. Buffalo pitcher Brad Helmick, for one, had a standout performance. Carlos Acevez earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record is now 2-0. The win gives Buffalo a record of 6-10.

Brady Fisher provided a timely hit. The Buffalo center fielder delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the 11th inning to put the Bison on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

"Exciting game to play in," said Fisher. "Getting the win makes it even better."
