Dallas second baseman Eric Johnson had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Johnson went 4 for 4 with a double and 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once, even as Pennsylvania beat the Texans, 10-4. The winning pitcher was 25-year old right-handed pitcher Nick Leicht. He tossed 104 pitches over 6.2 innings, allowing 4 runs on 7 hits. Martin Butler earned the save, his 1st, for the Butterflies.

Spencer Beddall hit a 2-run double off Cory Larson in the bottom of the fifth, which put the Butterflies in front, 4-3. In addition to the double, Beddall had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 4.

"You win some, you lose some. I don't get too caught up in all that," said Beddall.

Their 66-60 record puts the Butterflies third in the Roberto Clemente League Mike Brouillette Division.
