Peter Dillon, who finished 3rd in the RCL in wins with 17 in 2053, was locked in. The left-hander led the Manhattan Slice to a 7-2 win against the Bighorn Bison at Ram Brewery Ballpark. Dillon, now 8-11, was the winner. In 5.2 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 5, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. The Slice have now won 4 straight.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Scott Price? The Manhattan catcher had a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Slice on top, 4-1. For the game, Price had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
