Mexico City shortstop Ollie Dale had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 6-5, to Montreal at Mount Royal Grounds. Dale was 2 for 2 with a double and a walk, while adding 4 RBI. Montreal is now 89-58, while Mexico City is 68-78.
Montreal took a 6-5 lead on Leil Moorthy's 38th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Moorthy hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Mexico City pitcher Josh Messenger visibly frustrated.
"I like the grit of this ballclub," Moorthy said.
