Jason Franzoni had a big hand in the 12-5 Maple triumph over Walnut Creek. He rattled off 4 hits in 4 at-bats, scoring 2 times and knocking in 2 runs. The win makes Maple 64-81.

Maple used a well-timed hit by Kevin Spottswood to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Marauders ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Very good win for our guys," said Franzoni.
