The Pennsylvania Butterflies got a marvelous performance from pitcher Bruce Hauber. The right-hander kept the Seattle offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 6-1 Pennsylvania victory at Sasquatch Field at Brewbaker Family Memorial Stadium. Hauber yielded 1 run over 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 2, and struck out 5. His record improves to 1-8. The Butterflies improved to 53-91.

Pennsylvania used a well-timed hit by Alex Fernandez to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Butterflies ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

Pennsylvania manager Aaron Barnes called it "a pretty good win."
