Sasquatch Field at Brewbaker Family Memorial Stadium was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Seattle Sasquatch and Houghton Gremlins.

The Seattle Sasquatch outlasted Josh Neuner and the Houghton Gremlins, 8-7. Neuner was impressive in the loss. The Houghton first baseman went 2-4 with a home run, a triple, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Nate Yelinek, credited with the win in relief, is now 6-5. He allowed 2 runs on 2 hits in 1 innings.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Seattle right fielder Ricardo Nieves, facing Chris Wethington, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Sasquatch the 8-7 win.

"This place was electric at the end," Nieves said.

The 5th-place Sasquatch are now 58-66, the Gremlins 77-47.
