The Montreal Mounties downed the Vancouver Pioneers, 6-1, at "The Fort" at B.C. Place. The Mounties were led by Jared Jones. Jones was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. The first-place Mounties, at 75-49, lead the Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division by 6 games.

Early in the game, Jones had a 3-run home run for Montreal. It was his 25th home run of the season and put the Mounties on top, 4-1.
