Titus Now 11-8 After Subduing Mounties
|
Chicago got a first-rate effort from pitcher Chris Titus, who frustrated Montreal hitters en route to a 3-1 Eclipse triumph at Millennium Field. The Eclipse improved their record to 84-61 by beating Montreal.
Titus ran roughshod over the Montreal lineup. The right-hander allowed just 4 hits over 8.2 innings, while striking out 8. With the victory, he goes to 11-8 on the season.
"I made good pitches, kept the ball out of the middle of the plate for the most part," said Titus.
