|
Bighorn starter Dave Ransom put a stranglehold on the Milwaukee offense. The right-hander had complete command of his splitter in leading the Bison to a 5-1 win. Eric Strief notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record now sits at 6-1. Bighorn is now 66-78, Milwaukee 70-73.
Matt Loss came through with a big-time hit for Bighorn. The catcher smacked a grand slam home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 5-1. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"Winning is the only thing that really matters," Loss told the Bighorn Daily News. "If you can win without even breaking a sweat, more power to you."
