Toreros Suffer One-Run Loss at Dallas
The Dallas Texans racked up a win at Metroplex Park, bumping off the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 4-3. Bobby Gilmore, who started for Dallas, pitched effectively for his team. Chris Nugent recorded the save for Dallas, his 28th of the season. The Texans saw their record improve to 64-79.

Matt Chabot, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2062 draft, aided the Dallas cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the second baseman was 1-2 with a double and a walk.

"Bobby did what Bobby does," said Dallas manager Lester Burrow.
