The Chicago Eclipse went down to defeat to Warren Foradori and his Montreal teammates. The final score was 4-0, in favor of the Mounties. George Garrison earned his 1st save in 1 chances. With the win, Montreal upped its record to 87-57.

Montreal used a well-timed hit by Jean-Louis Barrier to capture the win. The catcher socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Mounties ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Barrier said after the game.
