Millers Suffer One-Run Loss at Buffalo
|
The Buffalo Bison scored a tight, 4-3 win versus the Milwaukee Millers at Thundering Grounds at Bison Stadium. Buffalo pitcher Jose Patino held his own in the contest. Picking up the save was Bobby Milleville, his 5th. The Bison have now won 6 straight.
Manuel Uribe drove in one run for Buffalo. The 22-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the second. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Tim Northup. It was his 34th RBI of the season.
"Jose showed what he's made of," said Buffalo manager Jon Green.
