Sasquatch Stumble, Lose to Earthquakes
Spirited fans greeted the Seattle Sasquatch for their clash with the San Francisco Earthquakes.

The San Francisco Earthquakes knocked off the Seattle Sasquatch, 8-3, at Sasquatch Field at Brewbaker Family Memorial Stadium. Josh McBroom hit 2 singles and 2 doubles, while driving in 2 runs. San Francisco's record now stands at 64-79, placing them last in the Thurman Munson League West Division.

Gil Delk had a big 2-run home run for the Earthquakes in the top of the first inning. With San Francisco leading 2-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a fastball from 27-year old right-handed pitcher Rick Rielly and punished it. The result was his 5th home run of the season, which put the Earthquakes on top, 4-0.

McBroom called the win "a team effort."
