Ridge Runners Win Nail-Biter in 10
The Eagle Rock Ridge Runners faced a tough opponent in Eureka pitcher Ezedine Adegoke, but still scratched out a win at The Nest by a final score of 4-3 in 10 innings. Adegoke went 9 innings and allowed 3 runs. The winner in relief was Jimmy LaPointe. He is now 7-3. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. Kyle Brye came through with a big-time hit for Eagle Rock. The second baseman smacked a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
