Pilots Need Extra Frames to Get Past Mounties
Montreal got a terrific game from shortstop Jesus Jasso. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Jacksonville, 7-6, in 15 innings. Jasso was 4-7 with 3 doubles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Russ Fought snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 1.2 innings. He's now 3-1 on the season. The win makes Jacksonville 56-65.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the 15th, with the game tied, Erik Butler was at the plate when Jacksonville scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Pilots to go in front, 7-6.

"The fans pay the tickets and help us do what we do, so we like to put on a show for them," Butler told the Jacksonville Today.
