The Quebec Armada racked up a win at Mount Royal Grounds, bumping off the Montreal Mounties, 6-3. Bruce Gaulton, who started for Quebec, pitched effectively for his team. Quebec is now 56-65.

The Armada got a big at-bat from third baseman Enrique Leon. For the game, Leon was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the second, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 7th home run of the season gave Quebec a 3-1 lead.

"We'll enjoy this win for now, but it's just one," Gaulton told local reporters. "We've got to keep it going."
