The Buffalo Bison withstood an impressive performance by Maple left fielder Ruben Campos to defeat the Marauders, 11-7, at Thundering Grounds at Bison Stadium. Campos was 3-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. The Bison bumped their record to 70-70 with this win.

Cliff Millar had a big grand slam home run for the Bison in the bottom of the third inning. With Buffalo leading 6-5 and the bases loaded, he sized up a fastball from fan favorite Billy Dionne and punished it. The result was his 35th home run of the season, which put the Bison on top, 10-5.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Millar. "And not try to do too much."
