The outcome was not decided until the very end at Ram Brewery Ballpark.

The Bighorn Bison defeated the El Paso Mavericks, 4-3, at Ram Brewery Ballpark. Bighorn was led by eight-time All-Star Francois Latulippe, who was 3 for 4 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Quirino Lorenzetti snagged the win in relief. He goes to 4-4 on the season. John Sommerville suffered the loss.

Jamie Collier was the walk-off hero for Bighorn. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bison pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This wasn't a good win," said Collier. "It was a great win."

The Bison saw their win-loss record go to 56-65. At the same time, the Mavericks fell to 57-64.
