Warriors Lose at Home, 5-4, to Pennsylvania
Kevin McArdle did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Walnut Creek Warriors from being beaten, 5-4, to the Pennsylvania Butterflies at Castlerock Field. McArdle belted 2 home runs. Pennsylvania pitcher Adam Rockwell got the win. He's now 8-6. Danny Logan was tagged with the loss. The Butterflies go to 71-50, putting them second in the Roberto Clemente League Mike Brouillette Division.

Pennsylvania relied on the hitting of Bobby Shaw to pick up the win. The left fielder ripped a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Butterflies on top, 5-2. For the game, Shaw had 1 triple and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.

"It's still just a game," said Shaw, "whether you win or lose."
