Mounties Lose By a Run at Cabo San Lucas
Cody Jaeger had a good game, but he could not keep the Montreal Mounties from falling, 4-3, to the Cabo San Lucas Toreros at Field de Los Layendas. The Montreal second baseman was 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs in the loss. Alejandro Castro was the winner. He's now 6-11. The loser was two-time Gold Glove Award winner Evan Tedford. Victor Gonzalez wrapped it up, recording his 9th save.

The Toreros got a big at-bat from designated hitter Dan Walker. For the game, Walker was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Cabo San Lucas a 3-2 lead.

In comments to the Cabo San Lucas Observer, Walker insisted that he's not as disinterested as it often appears. "Haters will hate," he added.
