Mavericks Pull Out Late Win, 3-2
|
The El Paso Mavericks picked up a win at The Kaleidoscope, knocking off the Pennsylvania Butterflies, 3-2. Starting pitcher David Gladden played a key role in the triumph. El Paso is now 57-63. Pennsylvania is 60-60.
Tim DePascale, who is a two-time All-Star, had a direct impact on the outcome. DePascale contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put El Paso up, 3-2.
"My job is to go out and execute," said Gladden.
