The Milwaukee Millers defeated the Asheville Moonshiners, 7-2, in Thurman Munson League action at The Still. Milwaukee pitcher Eric Jerome had a standout performance. Asheville falls to 8-5.

The Millers got a big at-bat from catcher Paul Brew III. For the game, Brew III was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the second, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Milwaukee a 2-0 lead.

"Eric's as tough as he is talented," said Milwaukee manager Kakuzo Kobayashi.
