Moonshiners Roll Past Bison, 6-2
|
Asheville got a strong outing from Jeff Agin as the Moonshiners defeated the Bighorn Bison, 6-2, at Ram Brewery Ballpark. The Moonshiners improved their record to 61-57 by beating Bighorn.
Asheville used a clutch at-bat from Seth Clark to capture the win. The designated hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Moonshiners ahead, 3-2. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"I thought we played a nice game," Clark told the Asheville Gazette. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
