Sam Mikolajczyk imposed his will on the Warriors from the get-go. Relying mainly on his cutter, the right-hander spearheaded the 4-1 Pennsylvania triumph. Pennsylvania is last in the Thurman Munson League East Division with a record of 51-85.

The Butterflies got a big at-bat from designated hitter Kenneth Jones. For the game, Jones went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 13th home run of the season gave Pennsylvania a 2-0 lead.
