The home crowd had a good time watching the El Paso Mavericks and Seattle Sasquatch get after it.

The Seattle Sasquatch defeated the El Paso Mavericks, 8-4. Doing his part was center fielder Edwin Montes, who went 3 for 4 with a triple and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The setback makes El Paso 54-64.

The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Montes hit a 2-run single off Alexis Ochoa. It propelled the Sasquatch into the lead, 4-2.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Alim bin Umar said.
