The Cabo San Lucas Toreros did just enough to sneak past the Chicago Eclipse, 6-5, at Millennium Field. Cabo San Lucas left fielder Tim Alessio, in particular, had a standout performance. The winner was Bobby Avila in relief. His record improves to 5-0. Brendan Tucker took the loss. The 4th-place Toreros lifted their record to 63-74.

Miguel Trujillo, who led the RCL in on-base percentage with .408 in 2061, helped out the Cabo San Lucas cause in the top of the sixth inning with a 2-run home run. For the game, the right fielder was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
