Eagle Rock Loses, 8-7, Despite Farley Performance
The Mexico City Luchadores weathered an outstanding game by Eagle Rock first baseman Carl Farley to topple the Ridge Runners, 8-7. Farley belted 3 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored three times. Mexico City reliever Jim Westberry picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Brian Clendenny absorbed the loss. Ray Heck sewed up the save, his 27th.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Jose Campos? The Mexico City catcher had a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Luchadores on top, 8-7. For the game, Campos had 2 doubles and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"Time to decompress after a tough win," said Campos.
