Kansas City Loses, 10-7, Despite Ascione Performance
The Buffalo Bison weathered a fine game by Kansas City third baseman Chris Ascione to upend the Tornadoes, 10-7, at Thundering Grounds at Bison Stadium. Ascione hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Buffalo pitcher Ben Molter got the win, upping his record to 3-5. Mario Villegas got the loss. The Bison move to 61-56 with the win, while the Tornadoes drop to 55-62.

Danny Pellot helped his team take an early lead with a run-scoring single. It came in the first inning, making the score 1-0, Bison.

"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Pellot told the Buffalo Observer.
