Another day, another victory for the red-hot Asheville Moonshiners.

Asheville turned a fine outing from starter J.R. Hepner into a victory over the Walnut Creek Warriors at Castlerock Field. The final score was 5-2. The third-place Moonshiners are 62-55.

Alex Garza had a big 2-run triple for the Moonshiners in the top of the second inning. With Asheville leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a curveball from fireballing 6' 7" right-hander Bruce Moreno and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 3rd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Moonshiners ahead, 4-0.

"Swagger goes hand in hand with playing well," said Asheville manager Baldassario Ardinghi.
