Buffalo Earns 7-6 Win
The Buffalo Bison defeated the Jacksonville Pilots, 7-6, in 10 innings. Cliff Millar, who led the TML in OPS with 1.054 in 2063, played a big role. Millar went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Bison in the win. Steve Hoefling earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed 3 runs on 3 hits in 2 innings. He upped his record to 9-6. The 4th-place Bison have won 4 consecutive games.

Millar had a game-changing double in the top of the tenth. On a 2-0 fastball from Tyler Martin, he banged a 2-run double to left, giving the Bison a 7-5 lead. It was the 33rd double of the year for Millar.

"Sometimes winning takes more than 27 outs," said Bison manager Jon Green.
