Bison Earn Win with Late Rally
The Buffalo Bison besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Kansas City center fielder Mike Moss by beating the Tornadoes, 5-4, at Thundering Grounds at Bison Stadium. Moss was 3-5 with 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Buffalo is now 60-56, Kansas City 55-61.

Danny Pellot was the walk-off hero for Buffalo. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bison center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This isn't football or hockey where you can overwhelm your opponents," Pellot told the Buffalo Observer. "Everyone gets 27 outs and we happened to make the most of them."
