Earthquakes Grind Out 2-0 Win
|
In a tight contest between the San Francisco Earthquakes and the Vancouver Pioneers, Ryan White was the determining factor. The San Francisco left-hander sparkled in his team's 2-0 win. Jim LeMay, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 25th save. The 5th-place Pioneers have lost 5 straight games.
San Francisco took control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and the bases loaded, Katsuharu Fujii hit a 2-run single to make it 2-0, Earthquakes.
"We found a way to win tonight," White said.
