The Houghton Gremlins picked up a win at Golden Goebels Park, taking down the Quebec Armada, 10-6. Starting pitcher Owen Stegemann was a big reason why. Houghton is now 3-8.

Adam Pappalardo had a big 2-run double for the Gremlins in the bottom of the third inning. With Houghton leading 4-2 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a fastball from Justin Jenks, who is the 3rd-best prospect in the Armada organization, and swatted a double to left. It was his 1st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Gremlins ahead, 6-2.

"Nice to get this one," said Pappalardo. "We've been scuffling."
