Cabo San Lucas and Havana duked it out and the Toreros came out victorious.

Ron Mulhollan was instrumental in his team's 8-5 triumph over the Havana Stogies. The shortstop went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 for the Cabo San Lucas Toreros. With the victory, the Toreros record stands at 44-72.

Bryan Bircher had a big bases-clearing double for the Toreros in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Cabo San Lucas leading 4-3 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 33-year old right-handed pitcher Angus Zorn and swatted a double to center. It was his 24th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Toreros ahead, 7-3.

"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Bircher told the Cabo San Lucas News.
