The Quebec Armada picked up a win at Lucky 7 Ballpark, knocking off the Mexico City Luchadores, 4-3. Starting pitcher John Tuck played a key role in the triumph. The win brings the Armada to 5-9, an awful start for a team that made the playoffs just last season.

The decisive blow was delivered by Josh Davey in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off 24-year old right-handed pitcher Ray Heck to win the game for Quebec. The home crowd went nuts.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Mexico City manager Prince Percival Papenfuss. "But we decided not to take it."
