The Maple Marauders easily defeated the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 13-3, at Magnificent Marauders Mansion, with left fielder Kevin Spottswood a main contributor to the win. He was 3-5 with 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for Maple. Maple reliever Andy Baer picked up the win, upping his record to 9-0. Alejandro Castro absorbed the loss. Maple currently is in last place in the Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division at 47-68.

The game turned with no one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Spottswood hit a 2-run home run off Alejandro Castro. It propelled the Marauders into the lead, 3-1.

"It's disappointing, but we have to move on," Cabo San Lucas manager Labib Sarahani said: "You're going to have games like that."
