Mounties Suffer One-Run Loss at Bloomington
Arson Arena hosted an old-fashioned pitchers' duel.

Bloomington starter Jay Vincent put a stranglehold on the Montreal offense. The left-hander had complete command of his fastball in leading the Blazers to a 2-1 win. Jason Phillips earned the save for Bloomington, his 34th of the year.

Bloomington took a 2-1 lead on Nick Dunn's 5th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Dunn hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Montreal pitcher Brad Steck visibly frustrated.

"Tough loss," said Montreal manager Julián Martínez. "This one will sting for a while."

The loss makes Montreal 65-50.
