The Pennsylvania Butterflies beat the Dallas Texans, 8-6, in 10 innings. Pennsylvania designated hitter Fidel Martinez, in particular, had a fine performance. He went 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 3 and driving in 3. Reliever Eric Reichel picked up the win. His record improves to 4-7. Chris Nugent took the loss. Tony Aguirre came through with a big-time hit for Pennsylvania. The third baseman smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 8-6. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
