In a low-scoring contest between the Manhattan Slice and the Hawaii Honu, Tom Clow was the X factor. The Manhattan left-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. Manhattan reliever Manny Fajardo was the winner. His record is now 3-5. Yun-fat Liang took the loss. Manhattan has run its win streak to 6 in a row.

Jorge Peralta came through with a big-time hit for Manhattan. The designated hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 2-0. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We were in it," said Hawaii manager Naoki Okada. "We just didn't score enough runs."
