Bison Get Dramatic 3-2 Triumph
|
Bighorn turned a fine outing from starter David Franco into a victory over the Walnut Creek Warriors at Ram Brewery Ballpark. The final score was 3-2. Bighorn, at 56-59, holds down 5th place in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division.
Bighorn got a knockout punch from Riley Andrus. The pinch hitter hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Franco said.
