Bruett Jr. goes 4-for-4 to Ignite Millers Offense
The Milwaukee Millers defeated the San Francisco Earthquakes, 5-4, in part because of second baseman Cade Bruett Jr.. Bruett Jr. went 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 3 times for the Millers. Jay Davis earned the win to go to 10-13. He allowed 2 runs on 7 hits, with 1 walk and 8 strikeouts in 6.2 innings of work. Milwaukee took a 5-2 lead on Bruett Jr.'s 16th home run of the season. The solo home run, which he hit off Jeff Agin in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Milwaukee to the win.
