Mounties Win with Late Rally
The Montreal Mounties needed 11 innings to defeat the El Paso Mavericks, 6-5, at Mount Royal Grounds. Montreal right fielder Chris Elliott had a superb performance. He was 4 for 5 with 4 singles and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Montreal reliever Rob Schuss was the winner. His record is now 3-3. Morgan Henn took the loss. The Mounties now own a record of 78-55.

The two teams entertained the Mount Royal Grounds crowd with some good baseball.

"This wasn't a good win," said Elliott. "It was a great win."
