The Quebec Armada picked up a win at Lucky 7 Ballpark, knocking off the Chicago Eclipse, 5-3. On the mound for Quebec was right-hander Raul Padilla. He played a key role in the triumph. Nick Cockrell earned the save for Quebec, his 32nd of the year. With the win, Quebec has a record of 75-58. Chicago falls to 71-62.

In the bottom of the 4th, Quebec took the lead on a 2-run single by Pete May. At the time, the Armada were trailing 1-0, but May's hit with two outs against Chicago pitcher Nick Leicht put them in front, 2-1.

"Raul pumped strikes and he made good pitches when he had to," said Quebec manager Rod Cirilo.
